Dorian Danielsen 3

The third Serge from Dorian Danielsen and this time it's the movie version of Serge (for today only it's "Draw Eric"!). Dorian is a graphic designer and illustrator from Paris with a website and a blog.

Elliot Elam

Stevyn Colgan

Cartoonist and writer, Stevyn Colgan supplied me with a colour and a black and white Serge. After much deliberation I've gone for the monotone Serge. Seemed more apt! Stevyn's work has appeared in many publications and is a regular contributor to the QI annuals. His first book Joined-Up Thinking was published in 2008. Dan Berry Part 2

A lot has happened to Dan Berry since his first Serge - he is now the creator of the "twitter-based, recipe comic" Onion Soup, has introduced the world to Silky Wilson and started the webcomic Oxford Clay. He's a busy chap! Here's his second Gainsbourg.

Double the fun today from Mr Ben Harrison AKA Benjamino. Ben sent me 2 version of Serge and I couldn't decide which version to put up so I've posted both. David Hill

Jon Burgerman

Here's Serge Gainsbourg from the pen of Mr Jon Burgerman. If you don't know who Jon is then you must have been living on another planet for the last few years. His work has adorned almost every surface known to man - from wallpaper to trainers to crockery to people's skin. Just give that boy a pen and watch him go! David Setter is a painter, illustrator, founder of the DoodlePlanet live drawing events (which I frequent on a regular basis) and even a decorator of rhinos. David has a blog where you can see more of his work and is also the proud owner of an extremely covetable Star Wars figure collection.

Lynn Allingham

Here's Serge courtesy of Lynn Allingham. Lynn is from down south but now resides up north. As well as being an accomplished illustrator Lynn is probably best known for her beautiful and distinctive jewellery. It's good enough to eat! Jason Garrattley

Jason Garrattley is a Birmingham-based designer and illustrator. He's also the curator of the excellent Kirby-Vision blog dedicated to the late, great Jack Kirby. Dave Nelson

Dave Nelson is a cartoonist, photographer and ceramicist based in Houston, Texas. He's also the creator of the webcomic "Finding Elim" which has it's first published collection coming out this Autumn. For more details visit his website.

Gabriela Mudado is a motion graphics designer based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Gabriela is also a DJ with a weekly web radio show specialising in French music where, naturally, Serge always makes an appearance. Gabriela has a website and Flickr stream with more examples of her work.

It's Hammo's second time on Draw Serge and this time it's with an "accidental Serge". Nick found Serge magically appearing whilst he was doing some "creative procrastinating". Very nice it is too. Rod McKie

Rod Mckie is a cartoonist and illustrator who has contributed to (amongst others) Playboy, The Wall Street Journal, National Lampoon, Punch and Reader's Digest. He has a blog (which is always a fascinating read) and some online comics here.

This Serge is the work of the mysteriously named "Alan R". Alan works in a library in Glasgow but draws caricatures in his spare time. Inspired by Draw Serge, Alan has produced his very own version of Gainsbourg. Merci, Alan!

Lapin is a Barcelona-based illustrator with an impressive body of work as an illustrator and art director. After seeing the Gainsbourg movie he felt inspired to draw the "Serge-creature". Akira The Don

Akira the Don is a rapper, producer, DJ and comic artist. Paris-based Denis Nguyen-Kien has combined a self portrait by Gainsborough with a portrait of Serge and created this digital hybrid. Gainsbourg chose his name in homage to Gainsborough so Denis thought he'd use this as a basis for his contribution.

Tanja Stieg is an architecture student from Aachen, Germany and also a devoted Serge fan. Tanja has a blog where she indulges her passion for photography, handicrafts and drawing.

Pete Fowler

I'm sure no introductions are necessary for almost everyone reading this. Pete Fowler is an illustrator, "monsterist" and a true pioneer of designer vinyl. As well as creating the majority of the artwork for one of the greatest living bands, The Super Furry Animals, Pete has created hordes of designer toys, worked on major advertising campaigns and even makes music (under the guise of Seahawks). Pete Fowler lives in London and likes owls. Here's the sketch too as a bonus.

James Howard AKA The Mooks

Geraint Ford 2

Here's another Serge from previous "Draw Serge" contributor, Geraint Ford (Geraint first graced the blog way back in May last year). This time he's sent us Serge as Schroeder from Peanuts. Tomos Thornton

Possibly the largest portrait of Serge so far! I had the pleasure of seeing this piece come together at a live drawing event last month. Tomos is a Welsh artist with a penchant for distinctive faces that look a bit "lived in" - Serge is an ideal subject. This piece is a great example of Tomos' incredible POSCA technique. Tomos has a Facebook group HERE where you can see more examples of his very distinctive work.

Ryan Cox

What a t-shirt this would make! I don't know a great deal about Ryan Cox apart from the fact that he's based in New York and his stuff is incredible. Have a look at his website to see more of his brilliant work. I love his Mamas and the Papas pic!

Darryl Cunningham (Part 2)

He's worked in the British small press for many years and has recently got the recognition he deserves with the publication of his excellent Psychiatric Tales book.
