A beautiful Serge drawing today from Elliot Elam. I think this has a touch of Ronald Searle and Mort Drucker about it (and I don't bandy about those names lightly!). See more wonderful drawings on Elliot's website, blog and Flickr stream.

Tuesday 30 November 2010

Stevyn Colgan

Double the fun today from Mr Ben Harrison AKA Benjamino. Ben sent me 2 version of Serge and I couldn't decide which version to put up so I've posted both. His blog claims that he lives in "a bin up a tree" but I've heard rumours that he's, in fact, based in Manchester. To see more of his paintings visit his blog, website or even his Flickr stream.

Possibly the largest portrait of Serge so far! I had the pleasure of seeing this piece come together at a live drawing event last month.
