Angelo Seminara

Angelo Seminara is an Italian-born illustrator and graphic designer now living and working in Paris. Here's what he has to say about Serge "it's really hard to describe how much his music has influenced my work and life (well in a very complicated way he's responsible for my expatriation to Paris), so it's great to find others illustrators who love him". K H Weber

Weber is a German illustration student and has recently become a fan of Serge Gainsbourg. There isn't a website yet featuring Weber's work but once there is I'll post a link to it here.

Peskimo

Peskimo (AKA David and Jodie) are Bristol-based illustrators and character designers (in fact their excellent Monster Burp toy is produced by the same toy company, Crazy Label, as my very own Inspector Cumulus. Sorry for that bit of blatant self-promotion). They've produced toys, animation and clothing for clients as varied as Kid Robot, Sony and Vodaphone. Rafael José Seibt

Rafael is an illustrator and designer from Brazil (I told you, Brazil loves Serge!). He has a blog and Flickr stream with more great examples of his work. Rafael also has the distinction of being the 100th post! 100 since May 24th - Incroyable!

Tatiana Baronian

Tatiana is a Brazilian student of graphic design and fashion illustration who, unfortunately, doesn't have a portfolio of her work online at the moment. She has, though, provided us with a great smoking Serge illustration.

Here's two great sketchbook pages from Pittsburgh-based cartoonist/illustrator Wayno. I'm sure Wayno needs no introduction, but just in case, here's his website and blog. Wayno's currently got a great exhibition called "File Under: Pop" on at the Zombo Gallery, Pittsburgh. The exhibition catalog also doubles as a colouring book. How cool is that?

Leendert Masselink

Julie Ly

Here's Serge from Julie Ly. Julie is a senior illustration student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She was introduced to the music of Gainsbourg by her sister when she was in high school. You can see more of Julie's work on her website. I particularly like her Cramps illustration. You really don't see enough portraits of Lux and Ivy!
